Colva Beach

Colva is a Coastal Village in salcete taluka, south Goa district which has approx 2.4 long natural beautiful beach. This beach is famous for its fresh water, local fisher man village and water sports activities on beach. There are numbers of the restaurants, hotels, accommodations, pubs, guest houses and bars available to enjoy life. There are numbers of the old ruin villas and heritage houses also exist near of the beach, now several tourists come to visit these from all over world along with Indian people. Top season period is October to February to visit Colva beach. People should wear lifeguard before swimming on beach but should not cross warning flags. The Colva local village has several countries people which come in Portuguese rule period from Brazil, Angola, Portugal and some people also includes which converted from Hindu religion to Christian.
