Arvalem (Harvalem) Waterfall, Goa

Arvalem is a second most famous waterfall of the Goa state which also called Harvalem waterfall by local people. While Dudh Sagar Water Fall is the most famous and tallest waterfall of the India. This waterfall toal hight is just 50 meters and width is 7 meters. People can access this waterfall easily via bus, texi, auto and bike. It is just 8 kilometers far from Bicholim town and only 2 kilometers distance from Sanquelim small town. It is a good picnic place to visit natural greenery, lots of trees and caves.

Other attraction: This location also has a most popular Hindu religion Rudreshwar temple. Devotees suppose that soul of the human come here after 12th day of the death. Lots of people come to visit this temple and prayer to God on several festivals days. Arvalem rock cut caves also exist this location people suppose this will used by Buddhist monks or Pandavas when the spent time during 12 years of the exile.

When to Visit: Well season to visit it is monsoon when it flows with full enthusiasm and glory. People also can visit it winter and summer season but this time water flow come slow.
